Laika & Fuey
Perrr-fect Pet Partners
Laika was a strikingly large and noble German Shepherd, while Fuey was a tiny four-week-old kitten, discovered abandoned in a plastic bag at the local tip. Despite their differences in size and beginning, the two became inseparable companions. Laika took on the role of guardian, faithfully protecting Fuey from mischievous cats and gently carrying him from place to place, her great jaws cradling him with surprising tenderness.
Their friendship blossomed in playful hours—Fuey, ever the mischievous spirit, would hide in ambush behind furniture or under blankets, ready to leap out with kittenish bravado, much like a tiny ninja, to surprise his canine friend. Laika, with patient good humour, indulged Fuey's antics, gently playing or giving chase. Together, they discovered a world where kindness bridged all differences, and joy was found in every shared adventure and quiet moment of rest.
Skylar & Webber
Skylar & Webber were two very different personalities. Skylar was high drive and stubborn. Webber was sweet and placid. Their contrasting natures brought a unique balance to the household—Skylar’s boundless energy kept everyone on their toes, while Webber’s gentle presence offered comfort and calm. It was a testament to how dogs, no matter how different, find ways to complement each other and enrich our lives in ways we never expect.
Opal & Fliss
Now there is Opal, our first all-black German Shepherd, though I’m convinced she identifies as a spaniel. Born to play, Opal treats each day as a celebration, determined to wring every drop of joy from life. When she’s not bounding through the house, collecting every stray toy, she’s charming us with her antics and boundless curiosity.
Fliss, meanwhile, has become the perfect counterbalance to Opal’s exuberance. Gentle by nature, Fliss brings a quiet calm and a sweetness that radiates through the household. Together, Opal and Fliss create a harmony of energy and serenity—a living proof that dogs, with their myriad personalities, have an uncanny ability to fill every corner of our lives with love, laughter, and unexpected companionship.

I’m Mani and I’ve enjoyed Oscar’s, supplied by Maria & David, since I was a pup! My favourite is lamb and rice...... And the sausages are the best! Everyone loves my shiny coat and at the fun dog show, I won the most handsome dog. My mum likes Oscar’s too. She just sends a message and my dinner is delivered.
